The NFL schedule for 2025 will release in just a few days. We’ll be covering every report and leak for the Denver Broncos along the way. When Week 1 rolls around, who do you hope to see Denver playing?
We already have one rumor suggesting the Broncos will be playing in London against the New York Jets in Week 6 and another rumor about there being back-to-back games against the Washington Commanders and Philadelphia Eagles. While its possible that could be Week 1 and 2, let’s assume its not for this exercise. Plus we already know the Eagles and Dallas Cowboys play in Week 1.
Broncos 2025 opponents
Home: Chiefs, Chargers, Raiders, Jaguars, Titans, Cowboys, Giants, Bengals, and Packers
Road: Chiefs, Chargers, Raiders, Texans, Colts, Eagles, Commanders, and Jets
Additionally, reports have surfaced that the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers will be in Brazil in Week 1.
That would leave plenty of other games to choose from. For this discussions sake, I’ll leave out games against teams that are either irrelevant or uninteresting matchups. That leaves an AFC West opponent or a quality 2024 team on the list. The leaves the following teams we could vote on for the Week 1 matchup.
I’m going with the Raiders. The NFL has scheduled the Raiders in Week 1 twice since 2019 and is the only divisional opponent they’ve scheduled with Denver in that first week too. Hopefully its a home game, because Las Vegas in early September is still most unpleasant.
