The Denver Broncos have a new Sheriff in town!

Following Peyton Manning’s award-winning performance in last year’s schedule release video as the new “summer intern,” there is a new intern in Denver.

Manning appears at the beginning of the video to introduce the new intern in charge of the 2022 schedule reveal: newly-acquired Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson.

Throughout the video, Manning and a glasses-clad Wilson fend off spies trying to get a sneak peek of the 2022 schedule (ESPN’s NFL insider Adam Schefter). Wilson answering phones and sorting the mail with mascot Miles.

Head coach Nathaniel Hackett makes several appearances, telling Wilson that “Peyton wants honey in his tea. I want the good [expletive].” Wilson goes outside to get honey from orange and blue bee boxes, noting that “this wasn’t in the job description.”

At the end of the video, Wilson forgets about the schedule release, leading team consultant John Elway to come through on a scooter to deliver the schedule.

The Broncos season kicks off with a Monday night appearance in Seattle. Denver will have five prime-time games on their schedule this season.
