Christian Braun and the Denver Nuggets have agreed to a five-year, $125 million contract extension.
In 79 games last season, Braun averaged 15.4 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 33.9 minutes. Braun improved his three-point percentage from 22.2 percent to 29.6 percent.
The Nuggets freed up significant salary last offseason by trading Michael Porter Jr. to the Brooklyn Nets for Cam Johnson.
The Nuggets now have Jamal Murray and Aaron Gordon signed long-term in addition to two more seasons remaining on Nikola Jokic’s deal.
