The Colorado Rockies closed the door on April with a win, and started off May with another win! But then they only managed three hits in their loss on Friday night to the San Francisco Giants and were shut out 4-0.
There have been some pleasant surprises — like Chase Dollander and Jordan Beck — and some not-so-pleasant surprises — like Ryan McMahon and Germán Márquez. The 6-26 record has also been a not-so-pleasant surprise. But maybe their historically bad start means they’ll go on a tear in May?
