The Colorado Rockies recorded a season-high four-game win streak this week before losing back-to-back games to the Washington Nationals and Arizona Diamondbacks. Thursday’s game was a walk-off loss, while Friday’s was a very Coorsy matchup. But things feel different — a deficit on Friday night didn’t feel as “doom and gloom” as it perhaps would have earlier in the season. It felt like there was maybe some more hope than some of the games in April or early May. They battled, but it never fully felt like they were out. Hopefully they can continue to play close games and fight through them, and perhaps that’ll turn into some more wins!
