Colorado Rockies weekend discussion thread for June 14-15, 2025

The weekend is a great time to kick back and reflect. This Week in Purple is the place to catch up on the news from our team at Purple Row. You’ll find links to Rockpiles and other content below as well as a platform for community discussion in the comments.

The Colorado Rockies came back to Earth this week, dropping five of their last six games. They held the San Francisco Giants on the ropes for all three of their games, but two late-inning bullpen implosions equated to two losses. However, they did come back from down 7-3 to walk them off on Thursday afternoon, the Rockies’ first walk-off win in 2025.

Additionally, All-Star voting is in full swing! The Rox are getting to see the sights a little early, as they’re in Atlanta this weekend taking on the Braves before heading to Washington DC to take on the Nationals next week.
