Check out some of your favorite moments in Opening Day history while social distancing
Tomorrow is such a bittersweet day. Well, maybe mostly bitter. It was supposed to be Opening Day for Major League Baseball and all was supposed to be right with the world. Instead, we’re in the middle of a major pandemic that has us social distancing in our homes. The worst part is that there’s NO BASEBALL (or any sports, for that matter) for the foreseeable future.
However, MLB has devised a plan to celebrate Opening Day while still adhering to social distancing guidelines. Ken Rosenthal reported this morning that MLB will have a full 30-game slate to allow fans the Opening Day experience. Here’s what’s in store:

For Rockies fans, we can look forward to reliving Nolan Arenado’s epic Father’s Day Walk-off Cycle! Unfortunately, we also have to endure watching Clayton Kershaw no-hit the Rockies six hours later. Both of those will be streamed on Twitter.
The first game of the 2018 NLDS against the Brewers will also be available to fans. Not a great ending for the boys in purple, but at least it was a good game.
If none of those things interest you, remember that Purple Row will be streaming our own simulated Opening Day with complete coverage.
Things get started tomorrow at 6:30 AM MT, so set your alarms! Happy (almost) Opening Day everybody!
