The Rockies.TV broadcast just cut back to Drew Goodman and Ryan Spilborghs to show that the rain is still falling in Washington, D.C. The fans seem to be in good spirits, eating and drinking to pass the time before the game restarts. But no estimates on when that might happen yet.

Looking to build on a three-game winning streak and hoping to achieve their second sweep of the season, the Rockies play the third installment of their four-game series with the Washington Nationals this evening.
In the last three games, the Rockies (16-57) have combined to beat the Braves and Nationals 26-11, hitting 11 home runs with Hunter Goodman crushing three and Michael Toglia, Ryan McMahon, and Mickey Moniak each recording two. The Rockies now have 71 homers through 73 games, meaning they’ve hit over 15% of their season total in the last three days.
Germán Márquez (2-8, 6.62 ERA) will be on the mound for the Rockies on Wednesday. In his last five starts, Márquez has posted a 3.85 ERA with 27 strikeouts in 28 innings. In his last outing against Atlanta, Márquez threw five solid innings, giving up one run on six hits with seven strikeouts and one walk.
Mitchell Parker (4-7, 4.84 ERA) will get the start for Washington (30-43). The 25-year-old LHP is 1-0 in two starts in his two-year career against the Rockies with a 3.46 ERA. In his last outing against the Marlins, Parker was hit hard, surrendering eight hits, including two homers, and three walks for six runs in 3 1⁄3 innings.
