Lefty Kyle Freeland gave up 19 hits and eight earned runs in just 6 1/3 innings in his last two home starts, then rebounded to throw six scoreless at San Diego his most recent time out. Freeland said the venue had nothing to do with the difference in results. “I just fell into a couple of my bad habits,” he said. “But we got that cleaned up during my bullpen [session] in L.A., I was able to see the results of those adjustments in San Diego, and I will be conscious of it going into [Saturday].” He starts Saturday in the middle game of the Rockies’ set against the Angels at Coors Field, with first pitch at 6:10 p.m. MT, available on MLB.TV. Right-hander Jaime Barria gets the ball for the Angels.
