The podcast Affected by Altitude is hosted by Purple Row staff writers Evan Lang and Skyler Timmins, who are incredibly proud and excited to be lending their voices to more great Rockies content for you to enjoy. Joining Evan and Skyler is a rotating cast of guests hosts to talk shop about everyone’s favorite purple baseball team.
This week, Skyler and Evan are joined by friend of the show Patrick Lyons to discuss just how frustrating the Colorado Rockies have been. Especially frustrating is an interview coming to the defense of skipper Bud Black from general manager Bill Schmidt. After holding a team meeting following a sweep by the bottom-dwelling Miami Marlins, the Rockies came out of the gate with a win against the Pittsburgh Pirates… only to drop the last two games of the series in frustrating fashion and have it feel like we’re right back where we started. However, it’s not all negative. The lads spend the third segment trying to be positive in the face of adversity.
