Jamal Murray suffered an ankle injury during the Denver Nuggets’ 100-86 win over the Charlotte Hornets.
X-rays on Murray’s left ankle returned negative, though Mike Malone was unsure of whether Murray would be out long-term.
“I have no idea how long he’s going to be out. Obviously, he’s had an issue with ankle injuries. He rolled it and those are scary, because those kind of injuries can be — aside from being painful — you don’t want to have Jamal Murray miss an extended period of time. So hopefully it’s not as bad as it looks and we can get him back (quickly),” said Malone after the game.
