The brother of Denver Nuggets superstar Nikola Jokic was involved in an altercation with a fan following last night’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers, and the NBA is reportedly looking into the matter.
In a clip circulating on social media, Jokic’s older brother Strahinja can be seen climbing down a row of seats and blasting a male fan in the face with a right-handed punch.
“The two sides weren’t done with each other after the hit, though … they continued to bark at each other as Strahinja’s brother, Nemanja, followed right behind him for support,” TMZ Sports wrote.
Jokic’s wife was also said to be in the area, holding the couple’s young daughter and trying to get her brother-in-law to come back and avoid the fight.
According to TMZ, the NBA has officially opened an investigation.
“The #NBA is investigating the altercation between Nikola Jokic’s brother Strahinja Jokic and a fan during game 2 of the #Lakers–#Nuggets series last night in Denver,” TMZ Sports executive producer Michael J. Babcock said.

This is not the first time the Jokic brothers have gotten into it with opposing fans. While we can certainly admire their passion in supporting their brother, this is a terrible look for Jokic and the NBA as a whole.
It will be interesting to see if there are any ramifications as a result of the league’s inquiry.
