After the Denver Nuggets defeated the Los Angeles Lakers on Monday night, Nikola Jokic’s brother, Strahinja, punched a fan in the stands.
Earlier today, TMZ revealed that the NBA is investigating this incident involving Jokic’s older brother.
Moments ago, TMZ had another update regarding this situation. Apparently, the Denver Police Department have seen the footage involving Jokic’s brother. They’re trying to track down the man who got punched.
So far, no one has filed a report claiming they’re the victim from Monday’s altercation.
We’re told police are reviewing the clip circulating social media in hopes of identifying the man … but they’re also calling on any witnesses or other people involved to step up and talk.
Jokic has not yet commented on his brother’s behavior. We’d imagine he’ll get asked about it at some point.
With the police investigating, however, it’s highly unlikely Jokic says anything substantial.
The series will shift over to Los Angeles this Thursday for Game 3. It’s unclear if Jokic’s brothers will be in attendance.
Many fans believe the NBA should step in and prevent Jokic’s older brother from attending future playoff games.
