The Denver Nuggets have hung tough without Nikola Jokic, going 2-2 in the four games the superstar center has missed. The really good news for Denver is that Jokic’s rehab is going well. The Nuggets expect Jokic to return by the All-Star Break at worst.
Jokic is traveling with the Nuggets as they continue an east coast swing. The MVP candidate is reportedly well under way in his rehab from his left knee injury and has been able to be aggressive with that rehab process.
Denver picked up an overtime road victory at the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday night. The Nuggets played without Jokic, as well as Jamal Murray, Aaron Gordon, Christian Braun and Tim Hardaway Jr. Those five joined Cameron Johnson and Jonas Valanciunas, who are also out with longer-term injuries, on the Denver bench.
