Jamal Murray suffered a sprained ankle during the Denver Nuggets’ 131-121 loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Monday night.
Murray, who suffered the injury in the third quarter, spent the fourth quarter in the locker room.
“It’s a huge absence, obviously, offensively,” Nuggets coach David Adelman said. “Jamal’s such a tough player. If he sits himself because of the pain, it probably hurts. I’m hoping he can come back [for the next game].”
Murray is listed as questionable for Wednesday’s game against the Pacers.
