Highlights: Nikola Jokic scores 24 second half points to lead Nuggets past Timberwolves

Nikola Jokic was at it again on Tuesday night scoring 24 of his 35 points in the second half to lead the Denver Nuggets to victory. After a first half in which Jokic picked up three fouls — one being a technical — one might think his night was going to end a little early, but the Nuggets superstar made sure that didn’t happen.

Jokic was phenomenal in the games final two quarters and finished the night with 35 points on 12-of-20 shooting from the field, 1-of-1 from beyond the arc, and 10-of-12 from the free-throw line. It was not just scoring as Jokic recorded yet another double-double with 15 rebounds to go along with six assists.

Something should also be said for Jokic’s defense as he caused problems in the paint for Minnesota all night long. Jokic finished the game with three steals and played a massive role in the Nuggets success on both ends of the court.
