Barrage of Jokic 3s and tough Jamal Murray jumpers.
Capped by an Aaron Gordon 3.
Thunder down 68-80.
This has been a game of runs. OKC really needs one right here. – 11:16 PM

12-2 run by OKC prompts a Denver timeout. Great on ball possession by Jalen Williams to get Aaron Gordon on his heels, brings the backside help up, fires a pass to IHart for the slam. – 9:54 PM

More on this storyline
Jake Shapiro: Aaron Gordon said his hamstring feels okay and he’ll begin the recovery process right now. Obviously the forward’s leg is a concern. -via Bluesky / May 16, 2025
Gordon took issue with the piece, pivoting from reflecting on the loss to offer his thoughts on his teammate. “Really, I don’t feel like talking about the game,” he said. “Earlier I caught wind of an article that came out about Russell Westbrook and our locker room after Game 2, which was a completely arbitrary article and pointless and unnecessary. Russ is one of the most talented basketball players that has ever played the game of basketball. And quite frankly, he’s been great for us all year long. We’re brothers, we spend more time with our team than we do with our family. Of course there’s going to be disagreements. But that conversation wasn’t for anybody other than our own group.” -via Sports Illustrated / May 15, 2025
Walker Kessler on Nikola Jokic: The way he can manipulate the game and get guys (involved)… And again we’re a young team so I don’t know if those same pitfalls happen with an older team, but with my experience, he’ll get our young guys to bite on stuff that he like wants them to bite on and then meanwhile he’s got a back door to Aaron Gordon or something like that. And then his ability to make shots in that little float. As a shot blocker, he’s so tough to block because he’s so good at keeping the ball away and it doesn’t look like it’s going to go in. And his touch around the rim is just impeccable. -via YouTube / May 15, 2025
