The Jacksonville Jaguars officially got a deal done with former Colorado superstar and 2024 Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter.

The No. 2 overall pick signed a four-year, $46.6 million rookie contract that includes the standard fifth-year team option. This deal is unprecedented, not just in size, but in context — we’ve never seen a two-way star like Travis enter the league with this kind of value from day one, but Hunter’s case is unique.

He’s the first true two-way player of this caliber to be drafted, and Jacksonville didn’t just land him by luck — they traded up to the second pick specifically to get him.
