Shedeur and Shilo Sanders won’t be the only siblings playing football for Colorado next season.
Per On3’s Hayes Fawcett, cornerback Colton Hood and running Brandon Hood back are both committing to the Buffaloes. Colton is transferring from Auburn, and Brandon is a three-star recruit from the class of 2024.
Colton posted photos of the brothers together in Colorado uniforms when confirming their commitment on Instagram.
“Living life like a movie trying to make these dreams work,” Colton wrote.
Colton joined Auburn last year after flipping his commitment from Michigan State. He had received offers from Michigan, Clemson, Penn State, and other notable schools.
The former three-star recruit recorded his only stats when collecting three tackles in a Music City Bowl loss to Maryland. He has four years of collegiate eligibility remaining after redshirting his freshman year.
Colton can help replace Adam Hopkins and former five-star recruit Cormani McClain, who entered the spring transfer portal.
Brandon was slated to join Georgia as a preferred walk-on before committing to Colorado. Auburn was among the schools to offer the 5-foot-11, 190-pound back a scholarship.
He’s one of multiple additions to an entirely revamped Buffaloes backfield. Colorado has added Dallan Hayden and Rashad Amos through the transfer portal after losing Dylan Edwards and three other running backs.
The Hood brothers are both nephews of former NFL defensive back Roderick Hood, who notched 15 interceptions in 102 career games after playing at Auburn.
