Hope is not dead, after all
WE’RE BACK, BABY! Deion Sanders called a scary press conference on Monday morning, with his medical team in tow. Obviously, this was nerve-wracking on our end, as people who follow the program, but it was doubly so for the team and the coaches, who didn’t really know what was going on.
Luckily, we had boots on the ground in Ryland Scholes and we had some free time on the mic to chat about the press conference and how it felt being in the room.
Long story short, Deion Sanders went through some very scary stuff. Cancer is no joke and bladder cancer especially is no joke. The fact that he’s healthy enough to coach the Colorado Buffaloes in 2025 is reason enough to celebrate.
