A quick look at when your favorite Buffs will compete

The 2025 NFL Scouting Combine will begin today, at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, and we now have the full workout schedule. With five Buffaloes getting the invite—Travis Hunter, Shedeur Sanders, LaJohntay Wester, Jimmy Horn Jr., and Will Sheppard—there will be plenty of eyes on this group as they showcase their talent in front of NFL scouts, coaches, and general managers.

Combine Workout Schedule:

  • Thursday, February 27th – Defensive Linemen & Linebackers (3 PM ET)
  • Friday, February 28th – Defensive Backs & Tight Ends (3 PM ET)
  • Saturday, March 1st – Quarterbacks, Wide Receivers & Running Backs (1 PM ET)
  • Sunday, March 2nd – Offensive Linemen (1 PM ET)

When the Buffs Will Compete

  • Friday, February 28th – Travis Hunter (Defensive Backs)

Hunter will participate as a cornerback, but it remains to be seen if he’ll also compete in wide receiver drills.

  • Saturday, March 1st – LaJohntay Wester, Jimmy Horn Jr., Will Sheppard (Wide Receivers)

All three Buffs receivers will get a chance to prove themselves. Horn will need a good time in the 40 yard dash to highlight his elite speed, Wester will need to perform in the cone drill to showcase his shiftiness and viability in the slot, while Sheppard will need to show consistent hands and good all around athleticism.
