The Buffs are headed to Frisco!

The Big 12 Media Days are right around the corner, and the Colorado Buffaloes will be sending their big names to represent CU at The Star in Frisco, Texas.

Scheduled for July 8 and 9, this year’s event will give fans and media a chance to hear from the program’s most important players as the Buffs head into another high-expectation season. All 16 Big 12 member institutions will be sending their head coaches and at least five key players to talk to media members, so who will be the Buffs bring to Frisco?

Colorado’s delegation is headlined by a pair of quarterbacks: Julian Lewis, the true freshman phenom, and veteran Kaidon Salter, who transferred in with a ton of starting experience.

They’ll be joined by star offensive lineman Jordan Seaton, who looks to anchor the line as a sophomore, standout defensive back DJ McKinney, and kicker Alejandro Mata, one of the most reliable legs in the conference.

As always, Deion “Coach Prime” Sanders will take the stage and talk to the press. Sanders hasn’t spoken to the media since Colorado’s spring game and has been at his home in the Dallas suburbs recovering from undisclosed medical issues, so it will be nice to hear from Prime after a prolonged period away from the spotlight.

With this lineup of players and Coach Prime sure to grab every headline, expect the Buffs to be in the spotlight for the entirety of Big 12 media day.

Oh, and hey! Ralphie Report will be there too!

The Big 12 has elected to forgo the usual media preseason all-conference voting, but we’ve decided that’s lame so we’re going to post our own ballot anyways. Make sure to keep up with Ralphie Report this week and next as we gear up for an eventful time in Frisco!
