Colorado’s week four battle with the ‘Pokes will be at a fully packed Folsom Field

It’s getting real, y’all. Football season is almost here.

On Wednesday afternoon, the University of Colorado announced its first sellout of the 2025 season — the Family Weekend game against Wyoming.

This marks the earliest sellout announcement in recent memory, coming nearly a full month earlier than last year’s first sold-out game. It appears that last season’s nine-win campaign left a lasting impact on the fan base and the university as a whole.

A couple of other matchups are trending toward sellout status as well, including the season opener against Georgia Tech and CU’s Big 12 home opener against BYU. If you’re eyeing tickets, that BYU game is set for an 8:15 p.m. kickoff and might end up being the rowdiest crowd Folsom sees this year. The Alamo Bowl rematch alone would be enough to draw hype, but under the lights in Boulder? That one should be electric.

This Wyoming game will mark Colorado and Deion Sanders’ first since signing his new five-year, $54 million contract extension this offseason. If the stands continue to fill like this, it’s hard to argue that it wasn’t money well spent.
