Buffaloes land standout FCS WR Sincere Brown

The Buffs have landed a 6-foot-5 speedster for 2025

The Colorado Buffaloes haven’t slowed their recruiting roll ahead of their spring game on April 19, landing a big-time commitment from former USF and Campbell wide receiver Sincere Brown.

The 6-foot-5, 190-pound receiver is the definition of a freak athlete. He’s large, shifty and incredibly fast, as evidenced by his 4.41 40-yard dash time. He can high-point balls, burn corners on go-routes and truly do whatever Colorado OC Pat Shurmur asks of him.

After starting his college career with South Florida in 2020, Brown rarely saw the field during his time in Tampa, where he played alongside former CU receivers Xavier Weaver and Jimmy Horn Jr.

Prior to the 2024 season, Brown decided that a change of scenery was necessary and chose to transfer to the Campbell Fighting Camels of the Coastal Athletic Association. That decision would prove to be wise, as Brown broke out during his time in central North Carolina, becoming one of the best wide receivers at the FCS level.

Brown tallied 61 receptions for 1028 yards and 12 total touchdowns during his one season with the Camels, earning him first-team All-CAA honors. Widely regarded as one of the best players in the spring portal period so far, Colorado was able to beat out former Pac-12 conference-mates UCLA and Cal to land their new wideout.

Brown has one season of eligibility remaining and will be a plug-and-play starter for the Buffaloes in 2025. Along with Joseph Williams, Omarion Miller and Drelor Miller, expect Brown be a key piece of Colorado’s receiving core this season.
