Colorado star Travis Hunter suffered a lacerated liver at the hands of Colorado State defender Henry Blackburn a few weeks ago. But now it appears that the two are burying the hatchet.
A recent video has gone viral of Hunter and Blackburn meeting in front of fans, showing everyone that they’re on good terms despite the threats that Blackburn has received for his hit on Hunter.
“Great to see: Colorado’s Travis Hunter and Colorado State’s Henry Blackburn met and and hung out to show fans they’re good after Blackburn received death threats from people following his hit on Hunter,” Dov Kleiman wrote. “Hopefully this stops the death threats to Blackburn and his family, that is never right.”
Fans on social media have praised Hunter and Blackburn for being able to mend the fences like this:

“Travis Hunter said from the jump “it’s football it happens” and Deion immediately asked for people to forgive him. It’s the weird fans that have no actual attachment that made this what it shouldn’t have been. But huge credit to Hunter for helping squash this,” one user wrote.
“Always Amazing to me when you see kids under 21 years old Mature enough than Grown Adults on the Internet. Love to see this!” wrote another.
“Better man than me, that kid could’ve ruined Hunter’s career on purpose,” a third mused.
It’s nice to see.
