There hasn’t been this much excitement for the Colorado football team in decades. But with Deion Sanders leading the Buffaloes to a 2-0 start and with both major sports networks coming to their city, the hype is real.
Case in point: The student ticket line for the Colorado-Colorado State game this Saturday opened up at 6:45 a.m. local time this morning and saw thousands of students waiting in line – possibly overnight – for their chance to get their ticket.
A video of the ticket booth shows that the line extends all the way out of the building, well past the side of the building, up a few flights of stairs and then extending what appears to be several hundred yards in a line across the Boulder campus.
It’s easy to understand why there’s so much hype for this particular game. Both ESPN and Fox Sports are sending their college football pregame shows to their campus for Saturday’s game.

Unlike last game which saw a large swath of Nebraska fans invade Folsom Field for their game against the Cornhuskers, Colorado Buffaloes fans will certainly be the dominant force for this game against their in-state rivals.
Will this be the biggest game at Folsom Field this season?
