Following one season as a member of Colorado State’s staff, wide receivers coach Kenny Guiton has departed the Rams’ football program.
Confirming prior reports, Arkansas announced its official hiring of Guiton on Tuesday –– who will occupy the same post for the Razorbacks.

Hired as part of Steve Addazio’s initial coaching pool last January, the former Ohio State quarterback helped CSU stay afloat in the receiving game despite losing top wideout Warren Jackson before the campaign.
Overall, the Rams ranked sixth in the Mountain West in receiving yards per game last season (199.5). Headlining the unit’s respectability, star receiver Dante Wright finished the shortened season as the conference’s second-leading receiver per contest (105 receiving yards on average).
Prior to his brief stint in Fort Collins, Guiton handled Louisiana Tech’s outside wideouts (2019) after operating as Houston’s receivers coach (2017-2018).
The two-time OSU captain also spent four months as a quality control coach at Texas in 2017 before commencing his second stint with the Cougars. Following graduation in 2013, he accepted a graduate assistant role on Houston’s staff (2015-2016).
The quest for a WRs coach is most definitely underway at CSU.
