The Rockies have signed right-hander Ryan Miller to a minor league deal, reports Matt Eddy of Baseball America. The righty will presumably receive an invite to big league camp in spring training. The Rockies announced they’ve designated reliever Garrett Acton for assignment. That opens a 40-man roster spot for Willi Castro, who has officially signed the two-year deal to which he agreed a week ago. Colorado claimed Acton off waivers from the Rays at the outset of the offseason.
