The Denver Broncos schedule is out. Let’s prognosticate, shall we?
When I asked this question to the staff, they mostly all glibly responded with “4-0” because that is the only appropriate response. However, it’s May and we have four long months of waiting. What else are we going to do this week? I’m going to over-analyze the schedule and make useless predictions. That’s what I’m going to do.
Looking over the Broncos 2025 schedule for that first month, I am unsure about those 4-0 predictions. They are all winnable games, sure, but the one I’m looking at is on the road against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Denver has not fared well against the AFC West and while they had their best record in a while in the division last season at 3-3, they were swept by those same Chargers. I feel like that that is a game that could go the wrong way for the Denver Broncos. The other one that could be fireworks is that Monday Night Football game at home against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Last year, they lost in an exciting overtime game on the road in Cincinnati. Bo Nix made an incredible fourth-down throw into the end zone where another incredible catch was made to send the game into overtime. I feel like that home they should be able to win that game instead.
Optimism is still in effect, but a 3-1 record is likely a safer prediction if we’re being serious about it.
