ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Preseason is in the book and the Denver Broncos‘ Week 1 date with the Tennessee Titans is less than two weeks away.
But there’s one more item that needs to be taken care of before the season can officially kickoff. Sean Payton and George Paton must cut down the Broncos‘ roster.
By Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. MDT, all NFL teams must cut their rosters down from 90 players to 53.
On Wednesday, teams will then begin building their practice squad, which will be filled with many players they release before the Tuesday deadline.
Here are the moves the Broncos made to knock the roster down to the final 53 players.
Players who have been cut
- CB Joshua Pickett
- CB Micah Abraham
- WR Joaquin Davis
- OLB Andrew Farmer
