With the Denver Broncos regular season schedule released, let’s do a little predicting of the whole season, shall we?
We’re back on the Denver Broncos schedule release talk, but instead of the first month we’re going to go for the full year. Anything can happen, especially with unpredictable things like injury, but all things being healthy let’s do a little prediction fun here in mid-May.
Looking over the full Broncos 2025 schedule, I am seeing some potential for rough stretches and also some potential for a good run.
I definitely think they could start off strong with a 3-1 or better record through their first four games, but it gets a bit choppy from there. They have got to take care of business against the bottom-feeder teams like the New York Jets, New York Giants, and Las Vegas Raiders then be competitive and split the four other games in that stretch against playoff-caliber rosters. That would put them at 8-3 heading into their Bye week. Very nice.
The final six games is likely their toughest stretch of games. Let’s be pessimistic here and say they tread water going .500 in this stretch. That puts my final record prediction at 11-6 and a fine follow up to their first playoff berth in nearly a decade last season.
Here is where the rest of our Mile High Report staff landed on these meaningless May predictions. Some serious, some not so serious. You’ll be able to tell.
Scotty: 17-0 until we’re not!! (12-5).
John: 17, or maybe 13-4.
Chris: Well, it’s only May. It’s far too early to throw out a “realistic” prediction when we don’t even know who is on the final roster. I’ll say this though, getting 10 or 11 wins would be a huge success given this schedule. I think it’s tougher than some people think.
Ian: The Broncos go 13-4, vie for the AFC West title, and the top-seed in the AFC.
Ross: I’m really digging a 11 or 12 win season this year, and that will include the first AFC West championship in 11 years.
Adam: This is a 10 to 14 win team. I’ll go conservative here and say 12-5.
Joe: 12-5. I expect this team to overachieve like they did last season relative to most predictions.
Taylor: 12-5 for me as well.
Where do you think the Broncos land next season? All things being healthy and mid-May, of course. Share in the comments section below.
