As of Wednesday, the New England Patriots have additional COVID-19 positives to report their game with the Denver Broncos in doubt.
The NFL has postponed one game so far due to COVID-19, but it looks like more could follow as the pandemic begins to afflict more and more players. The latest team to be suffering from an outbreak is the New England Patriots.
The #Patriots have now informed all Tier 1/2 personnel, including players, they’ll work remotely today in light of star CB Stephon Gilmore’s positive test, per source.
Everyone still must show up to undergo daily COVID-19 testing. Results will impact where things go from here.

Cam Newton was the first to be reported last week and even though the Patriots reported no new positives every day leading up to the rescheduled game with the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday night, they were hit two positives on both Tuesday and Wednesday following that game.
With these positives, the league has reported they will still plan on having the Denver Broncos and Patriots play on Sunday. They will take a wait-and-see approach. The team will again need to go through multiple days without any additional positives before the game can proceed.
