It seems like every high-profile quarterback, past and present, is being asked about Aaron Rodgers these days. Peyton Manning was on Monday evening.
Prior to the MLB Home Run Derby in Denver, Manning appeared on MLB Network. He was asked if he thinks there is a chance Rodgers could get traded to the Broncos.
Manning said his “gut feeling” is that Rodgers won’t be coming to Denver. He would add that he “hopes” the reigning league MVP can work out his differences with the Green Bay Packers.
Manning also doesn’t think Rodgers will sit out the 2021 season either.

Considering Manning’s status as a Broncos and NFL legend, his comments drew considerable attention. In truth, he’s probably just speculating on what Rodgers will do, but that doesn’t mean people weren’t paying attention to what Peyton said.

Dumbest story of the year. Imagine a SB contender —who was one play away from the SB – trading the MVP of the league to another team for draft picks they wouldn’t be able to use for a year. https://t.co/fekYOjyws9

Rodgers did not report to minicamp last month and it is uncertain if he’ll with the Packers when training camp opens in two weeks. For now, the team has no intention of trading him.
