We’re back at it with Week 5. Jess Place, Laurie Lattimore-Volkmann, and I will be dueling it out this season for the best straight-up NFL picks guru on Mile High Report.
Welcome to Week 5!
While I’d love to move on from last week considering most of my picks took a nose dive, with my finishing 7-9 on the week. I must point out that Laurie wasn’t much better at 8-8, so I didn’t lose too much ground there. Jess was the biggest winner hitting home runs on all of the underdog picks to go 11-5. He and I are both still well behind the lead here. We need Laurie to trip up someday…
This week, I’m liking a couple of my spots. I love that I am the only one of us who picked the Seattle Seahawks at home on prime time over the Los Angeles Rams. I might still lose that game, but I think its a good spot to gain a game there. However, I might give it right back with the picking of the Jacksonville Jaguars at home against the Tennessee Titans. It is what it is, but the Jaguars have to win a game eventually, right?
Looking at last week, way too many people added their picks. If someone wants to setup a Yahoo or ESPN pick’em league, I’ll gladly join and add my weekly picks there.
