We have some news regarding the start of Broncos training camp and when their two joint practices will be.

With the offseason program in the rearview mirror, the next item on the Broncos’ schedule is the much-anticipated start to training camp. Well, the NFL announced earlier today the reporting dates for the Broncos’ rookies and veterans when their two joint practices will be.

According to the NFL, the Denver Broncos will report for training camp on July 16th, while the rest of the team will report to camp on July 22nd. That means the start of Broncos training camp will likely be July 23rd or 24th. Rookies report less than a month from now, while the rest of the team will report in about five weeks.

We are almost there, Broncos Country.

As for the Broncos’ joint practices, they will have two of them. The first one will be in Santa Clara, California, with the 49ers on August 7th ahead of their preseason game later that weekend. The other one will come later in the month, on August 14th, where they will host the Arizona Cardinals for a joint practice ahead of their preseason game.

Both of these joint practices will be a good test for the Broncos to see where they are at and how they match up against another team during the training camp period. Their first one will come at a point where the offense and defense are getting tired of hitting each other and will want to finally go up against some other competition. The second one vs. the Cardinals will be a good regular-season tune-up for the Broncos to see what they need to work on before the start of the regular season.

We should have the dates, times, and information for the Denver Broncos training camp rather soon. They’re in the middle of construction of their new facility so things might be a little different this year but should go smoothly. When we have that information, we’ll share it with you all here on Mile High Report so stay tuned for that.
