Von Miller is a free agent. Does he have value to the Denver Broncos in 2025?
No lie, Von Miller is one of my all-time favorite Denver Broncos players.
Von Miller is also currently a free agent.
While our orange and blue hearts may pine for him getting one more season with us in the Mile High City, I don’t think it makes any sense.
First off, Von as a football player is a shell of his former self. The Bills were using him as a rotational player in pass rush situations. While he still brought something to the table, it just honestly wasn’t much in the way of consistent production.
He had 6 sacks, 7 TFLs, and 13 tackles in 333 snaps over 13 games last season.
The Broncos have a stacked crew of young edge players with not enough snaps to go around as it is.
Then let’s ask the question of how little Von would be willing to play for? The Broncos have a future to build, and spending big on a 1-2 year contract for a vet who is knocking on the door of retirement just doesn’t make sense.
But if Von doesn’t get any offers by the time the season gets here and decides to hang it up, the team should absolutely sign him to a contract for retirement purposes.
