Kyle Fuller will have a $9 million base salary and a $500,000 per game roster bonus with the Denver Broncos this season. That will give the cornerback a salary cap hit of $9,281,250 in 2021, according to OverTheCap.com.
Fuller will now have the fourth-highest cap hit on the team this year, behind outside linebacker Von Miller ($22.125 million), right tackle Ja’Wuan James ($13 million) and guard Graham Glasgow ($11,906,250). Running back Melvin Gordon ($8,968,750) has the fifth-highest cap hit on the team.
After Fuller, Denver’s biggest cap hits in the secondary are cornerback Bryce Callahan ($8,145,834), safety Justin Simmons ($5.75 million) and safety Kareem Jackson ($5 million). Simmons’ cap hit will jump to $18.85 million next year and cornerback Ronald Darby will have a cap hit of $13 million in 2022.
Before cutting Nick Vannett last week, the Broncos had close to $25 million in salary cap space. After parting ways with the veteran tight end, Denver now has $26,439,494 in remaining cap space, according to OTC’s estimate.
