It certainly doesn’t hurt to have Christian McCaffrey or Alvin Kamara on your fantasy football team, but some fantasy managers opt to load up at other positions and target value running backs later in the draft — sleepers who are being drafted lower than they should be.
With that in mind, we’ve put together a quick list of 10 sleeper running backs to consider for the 2021 NFL season.
It’s worth noting that Saquon Barkley and Antonio Gibson are being drafted lower than they should be, but it’s hard to call established players like them true sleepers. Every player on this list has the potential to end up being an RB1 on your team, but none of them are being drafted that high at their position (each player’s average draft position among running backs is listed in parentheses).
Let’s get to the list!
