Fans believe the Broncos will bounce back vs. Chargers

December 8, 2023 by Mile High Report

NFL: Cleveland Browns at Denver Broncos
Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

79% of Broncos fans surveyed believe Denver will bounce back against the Los Angeles Chargers this weekend.

Despite having their five-game win streak ended by the Houston Texans, the Denver Broncos were still in the game late despite three costly interceptions from Russell Wilson. When I asked Broncos Country earlier this week if they thought the team would bounce back against the Los Angeles Chargers this week, they were mostly in agreement that they would win on Sunday.

Heading over to confidence polling, there was obviously a strong pull back from the high 90s to 86% this week. I am a little bit with them on this after watching that offensive ****show last week. From Wilson missing a wide open Jerry Jeudy, to the right side of the offensive line (looking at you Mike McGlinchey) completely collapsing all game long, it was tough to watch.

For the Broncos to beat the Chargers on Sunday, they have got to start convert on those many, many missed big play opportunities on offense. If they can right the ship quickly and turn this into a win, then they will be right back in the AFC playoff picture with a critical game against the Detroit Lions coming up after.
