The Kansas City Chiefs won every close game they had this season on their way to an AFC-best 15-2 record. They’ll host the AFC South division title winner Houston Texans in the divisional round of the playoffs today. The winner will advance to the AFC Championship game next week.
Kickoff is set for Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 2:30 p.m. Mile High time at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri and will air on ESPN.
My Prediction
According to FanDuel, the Chiefs are 8.5-point favorites over the Texans. While a blowout by Kansas City is possible due to the pretty rough injury situation in Houston, they have not been a blowout kind of team this year. I think the Texans will hang tough with some explosive plays, but ultimately Patrick Mahomes and those annoying Chiefs win yet another close game.
