The Denver Broncos may have their next Peyton Manning. At least in terms of how well Bo Nix will be able to recruit players to come to Denver.
The times are changing in Denver. After a decade searching for a way back to relevance, the Denver Broncos have finally found that with Bo Nix under center. The NFL is a quarterback-driven league and if you don’t have one, you’re not relevant. It’s nice to see our team relevant again.
Earlier this week on the Up & Adams Show, they interviewed Broncos’ legend Chris Harris Jr. He talked a lot about the Broncos — from what the addition of Jahdae Barron brings to the table to what Bo Nix means for the franchise. On the latter, he feels like players are going to flock to the franchise just to be a part of what is happening there with Nix and Sean Payton.
Chris Harris Jr. believes Bo Nix is a big recruiter for the Broncos: “Everyone wants to be a part of it…”

“For this guy to come in, step in, make huge plays,” Harris said. “He can run, he can throw the deep ball, he can throw on the run. He just fits that new modern style of play. Guys love him. He’s a locker room guy. He hangs with the guys. He’s a guy that, you know, players want to be around. And we haven’t had a guy who has been a big recruiter (of players) since Peyton Manning.”
The dynamic around this franchise has shifted so quickly. I remember just a year ago the biggest concern was Bo Nix’s age. Well, he basically began playing like he already struggled through the first year or two in the league. The Broncos are contenders and already on the fringe of AFC powerhouse rankings.
After 10 years of struggles, its hard sometimes to retain clarity. I’ll be the first to admit I’m wearing and seeing through orange and blue colored glasses and I simply don’t care. Bring on the future!
