The Denver Broncos will wear alternate blue jerseys when they host the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 6 of the 2021 NFL season on Sunday.
The Broncos will also honor former coach Mike Shanahan and former safety Steve Atwater before and during this week’s game during alumni weekend.
On Friday evening, Shanahan’s Ring of Fame pillar will be unveiled at Empower Field at Mile High. Fans are welcome to attend (6 p.m. MT). Atwater’s Pro Football Hall of Fame bust will also be on display.
Atwater will be honored during pregame on Sunday and Shanahan will be honored at halftime.
The Broncos will wear alternate uniforms two more times later this season. Denver will wear all-orange Color Rush uniforms against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 10 and blue jerseys against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 18.
The Broncos will stick to their primary orange jerseys for their six other home games this season. Denver went 0-3 in alternate uniforms last year.
