The Denver Broncos improved their depth at wide receiver on Wednesday when they agreed to terms on a two-year deal with veteran Josh Reynolds.
After adding Reynolds, receiver no longer appears to be a notable position of need for Denver, giving the team more flexibility going into the NFL draft. It’s still possible the Broncos could add more WRs in April, but doing so doesn’t have to be a priority.
Courtland Sutton is returning as the team’s WR1 after his 10-touchdown performance in 2023. Marvin Mims appears poised to step into Jerry Jeudy’s old role, Tim Patrick is returning from injury and Reynolds has been added to the mix. So, where does that leave Denver’s wide receiver depth chart?
Here’s our updated projection ahead of the draft.
WR1 | WR2 | Slot | WR4 |
Courtland Sutton | Tim Patrick | Marvin Mims | Josh Reynolds |
Brandon Johnson | Lil’Jordan Humphrey | Phillip Dorsett | Jalen Virgil |
David Sills | Michael Bandy |
Keep in mind this is just a projection. The Broncos will not release their first official depth chart until preseason begins in August.
The WR room is set, now Denver just needs a quarterback.
