Ashton Jeanty’s draft stock will be a hot topic in the coming months.
Every time the running back is linked to the Denver Broncos, countless fans on social media instantly push back with: “He won’t fall to pick No. 20!”
Not all draft pundits agree with that notion as Jeanty has been a popular pick for the Broncos in mock drafts. Meanwhile, in his second 2025 NFL mock draft, Daniel Jeremiah not only has Jeanty falling to pick No. 20, but he also has Denver passing on the running back.
Jeremiah’s most recent mock has Penn State tight end Tyler Warren going off the board to the New York Jets at pick No. 7. The Broncos later select Michigan tight end Colston Loveland at pick No. 20, leaving Jeanty to fall to the Pittsburgh Steelers at pick No. 21.
Tight end and running back are both key needs for Denver this spring, but it’s hard to imagine the team not picking Jeanty if he’s still on the board.
The 2025 NFL draft will be held in Green Bay, Wisconsin from April 24-26. Denver holds seven picks, including selections in the first four rounds.
