Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix visited a local hospital on Wednesday and he went viral on social media after a parent posted a photo of NFL player making a surprise visit.
“Why did I just wake up to Bo Nix talking to my son in this hospital,” the father wrote on his Twitter/X page with a photo of Nix at his son’s hospital bed.

“doctor told me my son was going to die when he was 2 weeks old unless he got a heart transplant we’ve been taking him to the hospital every week since then for treatment,” the father wrote in a follow-up tweet.
The son, Santana, was at the hospital for his weekly appointment when Nix made a surprise visit.
Nix was named a Pro Bowl alternate following his rookie season after surpassing 4,200 yards and scoring 34 touchdowns.
