Denver Broncos left tackle Garett Bolles and outside linebacker Bradley Chubb made the Professional Football Writers of America’s All-AFC Team for the 2020 season, the PFWA announced Monday.
David Bakhtiari of the Green Bay Packers and Jack Conklin of the Cleveland Browns made the All-NFL Team as offensive tackles. Khalil Mack of the Chicago Bears and T.J. Watt of the Pittsburgh Steelers made the All-NFL Team as outside linebackers.
Bolles was also named a second-team All-Pro by The Associated Press. Bolles wasn’t voted to the Pro Bowl but earning recognition from the PFWA and AP is a pretty good consolation.
Chubb was voted to the Pro Bowl after totaling 7.5 sacks in 14 games last season. Chubb has now recorded 20.5 sacks in 34 career games.
Bolles has a career year in 2020 and he earned a four-year contract extension. Bolles was penalized just four times and only allowed half a sack in 15 games, according to STATS LLC.
Bolles will aim to reach the Pro Bowl for the first time in 2021.
