The Denver Broncos lost to the Las Vegas Raiders 32-31 on Sunday. Denver finishes the year 5-11 following the loss. Las Vegas closes out the year with an 8-8 record.

Broncos wide receiver Tim Patrick left the game with a foot injury and guards Graham Glasgow (shoulder) and Dalton Risner (ankle) also suffered injuries in the season finale.

With Patrick sidelined, rookie wide receiver Tyrie Cleveland stepped up, catching four passes for 46 yards. Going into Week 17, Cleveland only had two catches for 18 yards in nine previous games.

Broncos running back Melvin Gordon rushed 26 times for 93 yards and a touchdown in the loss, finishing the year 14 yards short of a 1,000-yard season.

Because the Los Angeles Chargers beat the Kansas City Chiefs, the Broncos finished in last place in the AFC West. That means they’ll face the Jacksonville Jaguars and New York Jets in 2021 as well as the Detroit Lions (view all of the team’s opponents here).

Denver’s draft order will be finalized after the Philadelphia Eagles face the Washington Football Team on “Sunday Night Football.” The Broncos will pick either eighth (Eagles win) or ninth (Washington win) in the 2021 NFL draft.
