The Denver Broncos hosted Nebraska defensive back Omar Brown on a pre-draft visit earlier this month, according to KUSA-TV’s Mike Klis.
Brown also met with the Broncos at the Shrine Bowl, the defensive back said in an interview with The Draft Network’s Justin Melo.
“We talked about our defense at Nebraska and what my assignments were on specific plays,” Brown told Melo. “I had a good season. That’s just who I am. You have to be yourself in those meetings. There’s no point in lying or faking who you are.”
Brown (6-0, 205 pounds) was not invited to the NFL combine, but he ran a 40-yard dash in 4.53 seconds at Nebraska’s pro day, according to the Shrine Bowl’s Eric Galko.

Brown is a versatile defensive back who has played both as a safety and as a cornerback. After spending three years at Northern Iowa, he transferred to Nebraska ahead of the 2022 season.
Brown received honorable mention All-Big Ten recognition in 2023 after recording 51 tackles, three pass breakups and one interception last fall. He is projected to go undrafted later this month. Denver is likely considering Brown as a potential UDFA target.
