The Denver Broncos have the third-best odds (+550) to win an AFC West title during the 2023 NFL season, according to DraftKings Sportsbook.
Denver is considered the favorite (+190) to finish in third place. The Kansas City Chiefs (-165) are the favorite to win the division, followed by the Los Angeles Chargers (+340). The Las Vegas Raiders (+1100) have the longest odds to win the AFC West this fall.
The Broncos finished last in the division in 2022 with a 5-12 record, marking the third-straight year that Denver has finished at the bottom of the AFC West. The Broncos’ most recent non-fourth-place finish was a second-place finish in 2019 with a 7-9 record.
Denver’s over/under for total wins against division opponents this season has been set at 2.5. The Broncos have had just one win in the AFC West in each of the last three seasons. Before that, Denver recorded three division victories during the 2019 season.
There’s optimism that new head coach Sean Payton can help the Broncos get back on track this year, but until the team proves itself on the field, Denver won’t be considered a real threat in the AFC West.
