The Denver Broncos are slowly getting healthier from a few early season setbacks. Cornerback Ronald Darby is set to return within the next 21 days now.
The Denver Broncos announced on Wednesday that they have designated cornerback Ronald Darby to return from injured reserve. This opens up a 21-day window where he can return to the active roster.

Darby could potentially play this Sunday against the Steelers, but usually we see players get a week plus of practice in before officially being moved back onto the active roster. It would be a nice boost for the Denver defense to get the veteran back and also help rookie Patrick Surtain a bit from being asked to do too much too fast. He’s had some good and some bad plays so far, which is to be expected from a rookie thrust into full time lock down corner status.
Denver made a couple of other moves on Tuesday, as well. They released interior offensive lineman Harry Crider and cornerback Rojesterman Farris from the practice squad. They then signed wide receiver Josh Malone and inside linebacker Avery Williamson in their place.
